Art Director for The Bensusan Group, owners of The Blue Note Jazz Club and its franchises in New York, Japan and Milan, BBKing’s Club and Grill, The Highline Ballroom and the newly opened Howard Theater in Washington DC.  Responsible for the look, design, and branding of all restaurants and clubs as well as websites, printed materials and advertising. Also head of team working with interior design of club and peripherals, and chief designer for Half Note Records, creating and overseeing design and manufacturing of CD packaging for award - winning music.

DVD packaging, magazine and outdoor advertising, movie posters, sportswear, giveaways. Conceptualized marketing campaigns; collaborated with copywriters, contributed illustrations for special projects. Outstanding Contribution: Successfully conceived, managed and executed high profile projects, including special package announcing upcoming fall season lineup.

Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York, NY 2001–2005
Creative Director for first internationally renowned jazz institution. Initiated and created innovative signatureidentity and branding in collaboration with Artistic Director, Wynton Marsalis. Oversaw the design
of brochures, signage,websites, posters, magazine and outdoor advertising, programs, books, newsletters and direct mail. Developed new graphic standards in late 2004 in collabora­tion with the esteemed design firm, Pentagram. Supervised photoshoots, created CD packaging, illustrated and designed educational publications. Hired staff designers, assistants and freelancers. Outstanding Contribution: Developed effective marketing campaign for the grand opening of Frederick P. Rose Hall, the first concert hall created specifically for jazz music.

Creative Director for Churchill Downs, Inc., home of the Kentucky Derby. Responsible for development of current logo,branding and graphic standards for all properties, including Calder Park (Florida), Arlington Park (Chicago), and Hollywood Park (California). Oversaw design of all marketing materials, including advertising, commemorative books, memorabilia, programs, billboards, brochures, posters, promotional items. Conceptualized, story-boarded and developed television advertis­ing. Hired and supervised staff designers. Outstanding Contribution: Instituted award-winning
in-house graphic department.
